Sunrich is high in polyunsaturates or Linoleic acid which is
an essential fatty acid. It has low level of saturated fat The
average composition in fatty acids of the Sunrich is Linoleic acid-
17 %, Oleic acid- 16 % and Stearic acid- 4%. It contains about 1 %
unsaponifiables, rich in steriods such as compestral, betasteoterol
and stigma sterol. It has high contents of mono saturates and Zero
Cholesterol level hence Sunrich makes an ideal cooking medium and
salad oil. Long drawn researches in the dietary attributes of
Sunrich have favoured its high monounsaturates, low saturates and
very stable alternatives to common hydrogenated oils. It is a
